This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

Can you guess what this is?
This strange thing is the breastbone from our Thanksgiving turkey - I saved it after I made soup from the leftovers.
Thanks! I think I went too dark with the darks. I found a whole set of those woodless pencils, at Plaza, made by Koh-I-Noor. Two each of HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, and 9B. 12 pencils for only $14 or so. The General's is something like $2.50 apiece.

And a beautiful breast bone it is! Very well modeled, and it sits firmly. Wonderful!
