This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

4/2/11

My shoes

It was pretty late, and I still didn't know what I would draw - then I looked down and saw my shoes. I drew them until Malkie started playing with the laces, then I knew it was time to stop. Do you know the word for those little plastic tips on the ends of shoelaces? (Aglets.) I used a fine Sharpie to draw this - I didn't know they made such a beast. Nice pen.
