This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

4/26/11

Cocktail onions

I liked the way the jar lid and shadow were so dark, and the onions were so pale. I drew it with a 9B woodless pencil.

    Wonderful. I've never had one of those cocktail onions myself, and wouldn't know what to do with one! But the drawing is great.

    I've never had a martini (!), but apparently you put one in, and eat it afterward. I just bought this jar for drawing!
