This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

Tonight I took Gregory and Alex to a restaurant in Glenn Echo called the Irish Inn, where they have live music. I've always loved drawing musicians while they're playing - it's an exciting challenge to try to catch their poses while they're in motion, and it's also very nice to draw to live music. This was an excellent little jazz combo. They play there every Sunday.
