This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

Hal watching TV
I had such a busy day today, teaching two painting classes and attending a "smackdown" at the library tonight... I had no energy for a long drawing. A quick 5-minute sketch was just the ticket.
I like your drawings of people from life- such a nice casualness and air of reality. I hope the smackdown wasn't too hard a smack :) I didn't know you teach painting classes.
I have a few private students in my home, and I have been doing some acrylic workshops at Michael's... but I'm quitting that. Only one to go. I really dislike it - it's sponsored by Chartpak, basically to sell Grumbacher brand art supplies, and it feels like a Bob Ross class.
