This is my 2011 art project: I'm going to attempt to do one drawing every day of the year. The drawings can be any medium, any size, any level of care and completion. I'm looking forward to seeing how my work evolves and improves, and whether this practice helps me to be more organized and "together" in the rest of my life pursuits.

Glass bird

I'm still trying to get used to these new woodless colored pencils. I still haven't found the right paper. This is Bristol Vellum paper, and I don't like the texture. I'll try regular bristol next time, it's much smoother. This little glass bird used to be a perfume bottle, I think (the head screws off.) I found it at a thrift store. I painted it in my "B" painting, which is on my web site.

  1. You really do the solid jell of glass convincingly. I could not find your B painting!
